Satinder Sandhu

Satinder is principally involved in construction and commercial litigation covering various aspects of construction law, company law, commercial contracts, insolvency, civil frauds, property litigation, partnership and professional negligence, arbitration and mediation.

Satinder has been appointed as an Adjudicator by AIAC to adjudicate various disputes and has also represented parties in multimillion dollar adjudication disputes in Sarawak. Satinder is also currently involved as counsel in Arbitration disputes for projects in West Malaysia and Sarawak involving complicated construction issues. Satinder also actively carries out front-end drafting work for construction contracts relating to road, power lines, telecommunication and other advance infrastructure works in various places including West Malaysia, Sabah and Sarawak. Satinder and the firm are also on the corporate advisory panel of various listed and private companies. He has been in active legal practice for over 17 years following his call to the bar in 2002.  In relation to mediation, Satinder is an accredited mediator with the High Court Sabah and Sarawak and a registered mediator with the Asian International Arbitration Centre. Recently, Satinder also has been appointed by the Prime Minister’s Department to be mediator for the Pusat Mediasi Covid-19. Satinder has also attended and completed the Royal Institute of Royal Surveyors (RICS) Mediation Training Programme and is awaiting result of the same.
